"Keyboarding First is truly the best program that I have seen that is available for primary students at the elementary level to develop early keyboarding skills. The teachers are very enthusiastic about using it for numerous reasons.

Keyboarding First not only develops good keyboarding skills and eye-hand coordination, but it also helps students learn their colors and letters. Keyboarding First is a tool for children to reinforce their language arts skills (reading, spelling, and grammar) while keyboarding. Since students are so highly motivated to learn and practice their keyboarding skills, they cannot help but learn so much more and have fun doing it!

The inservice training provided by the Keyboarding First authors was excellent as they customized it to meet our needs. They were so personable in their presentation and follow-up.

I've been in education for 35 years, with 28 of those as an elementary principal, and I believe that Keyboarding First is such a practical, common sense and timely program for elementary children."

"Keyboarding First is an excellent program for teaching children how to correctly use the keyboard and a wise investment for any school district!

One of the best things about this program is that you don’t need to buy any software or worry about site licenses because it is used with any word processing program. The manuals are very easy to use and children quickly learn correct keyboarding and posture. In fact, I learned right along with my students!

It was so nice to see a program that didn’t focus on speed. I found it to be useful for students at all ability levels.

Keyboarding First teaches much more than typing skills. Children learn colors, left/right directions, spelling, making words, and the standard conventions in writing.

Keyboarding First enhances the teaching of language arts in a meaningful and enjoyable way for children!

The use of technology in our world is continually increasing.  By using Keyboarding First, children can learn word processing correctly at a young age before bad habits develop.

The creators have done an excellent job and have really listened to the needs of teachers and children."

"As a veteran elementary principal, I have seen the importance of developing fundamentally sound keyboarding habits at an early age.

By using the Keyboarding First program I have seen our primary students quickly advance in their typing confidence and proficiency.

This program motivates, coaches, reinforces and will enable children to fully participate in the wonderful world of technology."

"Keyboarding First is a terrific new program starting in kindergarten and ending in second grade.  This program teaches proper use of the computer and reinforces many reading/language arts skills as well. Programs I have used before have concentrated on keyboarding speed and accuracy, which defeats children before they start and encourages competition.

This program emphasizes the knowledge of the components of the computer and each child can progress at their own pace. The color- coded lessons are extremely user friendly for both the teacher and student.  This program’s activities can be used in the classroom as well as the computer lab.

Keyboarding First is not just an "extra thing" added to a packed curriculum but an essential component in today’s technological world.  It’s A-I levels not only teach appropriate computer technique but has been written to explain all functions and proper usage of the keyboard.

My students and I just loved it. My hat goes off to these ladies, you can tell they have experienced the frustration of trying to change learned habits and want others to avoid this experience.  They have been extremely knowledgeable and helpful to me as I worked with this program. Thank you!"
